After successfully building a development office in China, the strategic choice for the new location was made in Portugal. rb2 was looking for expansion opportunities to support its growth ambitions. Realizing the location in Portugal, rb2 customers now have several options to choose from in terms of time zones, culture and technical specialties.

The distance between the Netherlands and Portugal is short, the cultural differences are limited and there is only an hour time difference. We have chosen to work with a local partner at the start of the new office in Portugal. This is faster and less risky. And it is nice to be able to use the knowledge, experience, and facilities that are already available. Also, rb2 is from the head office in Purmerend in the lead of the recruitment and management of the offshore development team in Portugal.
